Donate 1 Watt

The Donate 1 Watt strategy was born from the processes of supporting vulnerable populations through donations of money, hygiene products, clothing, food, and education.

Building on the Aamarte Foundation's capacity to structure projects for social investment and forming alliances with other foundations, combined with support from private companies and government institutions, we are able to generate financial resources for investment in vulnerable populations.

Donate 1 Watt, encourages the general population and private companies to participate by donating the necessary amount for the management and implementation of the GSD and AGPE systems of the Aamarte Solar program, from 1 Watt, which is equivalent to $5,000 COP (Donate 1 Watt = Contribution of $5,000 COP).

Contributors can donate from 1 watt to any amount they choose. These contributions go directly to the Aamarte Foundation and are used exclusively for the development of the GSD and AGPE sustainable energy management systems. These systems are part of the Aamarte Solar program and generate energy and financial resources that are subsequently reinvested in the care of beneficiaries with free energy vouchers and the implementation of other intervention activities for vulnerable populations by the Aamarte Foundation.
